Dramatically Subtle Evil-ution

While the BC Rich Warlock had become an icon of heavy metal and thrash metal in the 80's, the emerging Death Metal bands wanted new and more extreme body shapes. The BC Rich Beast guitar was designed by Brian Hoffman of the band Deicide. While it has the same "arms and legs" scheme as the Warlock, the Beast is a much larger guitar with a twisted, tortured and deadlier looking shape.

In the late 2000's BC Rich added the horns from the neck cutout of the Beast to the body of the of the Warlock, thus creating the Warbeast. A pincer style headstock and dual humbucker pickups have been essential elements of all Warbeast guitars. BC Rich made multiple models over the years with fixed bridge beginner models like the Trace Warbeast, and nicer models like the Blood Bound Warbeast and WMD Warbeast having Floyd Rose tremolo bridges.
